Africa Inland Mission (Madagscar)
Rosina Ferdinand is a native of Madagascar and lives on Nosy Be, where she assists the Church in Madagascar but also serves the AIM International missionary family. Rosina is the Unit Leader for AIM in Madagascar and is responsible to provide support for the missionary team on the island; to develop and implement strategic ministry planning with other leaders; to ensure member care; and to oversee administration. As a young high school girl, Rosina became a Christian through the ministry of UGBM (Union des Groupes Bibliques de Madagascar) in Morondava. It was during Rosina’s university studies that her mother, a medium inhabited by a “Sakalava king’s spirit,” came to know Christ as her Lord and Savior. This is another amazing testimony of the power of God and his ability to transform lives.
NEEDS: Please pray. AIM is in the process of translating the Bible into the Sakalava language. Pray that good people would commit to the project. Pray also that God would guide all the efforts and arrangements being made during the translation process.
Blake and Christina Davis
Students International (Guatemala)
Suffering from the aftermath of a civil war that lasted more than three decades, Guatemala now must address the needs of the poor while at the same time preserving its natural resources (especially the tropical forests that cover its northern half). Students International, or “SI”, began ministry in Magdalena in 1994 and continues to share the Gospel while meeting the physical needs in the community through various occupational ministry sites such as technology, creative arts, education, special education, sports, health care, media and communications, microfinances, veterinary, and social work. Blake, Christina and their four children; Camden, Hope, Logan, and Greyson, serve the people of Guatemala with SI in the city of Magdalena. Currently the Field Directors, Blake and Christina moved their family to Guatemala in March of 2013. Together, they provide oversight and vision for the staff and ministry sites seeking to provide everyone with the resources they need to succeed.
If you would like to send an encouraging note or just want more information about their ministry, send an email to email@example.com or look them up on facebook “Davis Family to Guatemala.”

Prison Ministry- Diboll, TX
Inheritance Ministries is a Christ centered ministry focusing primarily on incarcerated men living in the two prisons in Diboll, TX. Inheritance Ministries has several focuses: Evangelism, Discipleship, Mentoring, Families, Skills and Leadership Development Training, Support of
Incarcerated Believers, and Fellowship. While our two most popular programs are Therapon (Discipleship program) and Toastmasters (Skills and Leadership program), we also offer Bible study groups, ESL Classes, and Sexual and Drug/ Alcohol Addiction Classes. The two prisons in Diboll are the Diboll Correctional Center (DCC) and the Rufus Duncan Unit (RDU). Each unit houses about 520 men respectively. The DCC is a pre-release unit where incarcerated men live for 1-4 years before releasing to go home. The RDU is a geriatrics unit (men 60+) who are incarcerated long-term many of which are indigent. Inheritance Ministries has been ministering to men in the DCC for seven years and in the RDU for two years. In 2016, we will minister to approximately 300 men between the two units. We are in the DCC about 4-5 times each week and in the RDU 2-3 times each week. Inheritance Ministries also supports some special events: Day with Dads at the DCC and Spouses Day at the RDU. The recidivism rate for incarcerated men in Texas is 62% (down from 72%). Out of every 100 men released, 62 will be back in prison within two years, with an average stay of 7-10 years. The men who complete Inheritance Ministry’s Skills and Leadership Training have a recidivism rate of 17% and those who complete the Discipleship programs have a recidivism rate of 0%!
Inheritance Ministries is in need of Men and Women volunteers. If you can volunteer 1 time a week for 3 hours contact Lawrence Owens.
